The Sunburst collection is designed by creative director, photographer, and 2018 alum Stefan Kohli. The collection draws from old logos and ephemera in the Colby archive – including a gold-foil script logo from a 1990’s yearbook pamphlet, a 1970’s version of the traditional sunburst logo, and a nod to a whimsical and forgotten story of the mule mascot. These references to Colby’s past are a reminder to revisit the aspirations and narratives of the College’s history while supporting its bright future.
